At Copper Ridge Dental, our people are what make this practice special. Many of our team members have spent years — and even decades — caring for patients throughout North Phoenix, building relationships that extend far beyond the dental chair. We believe every visit should feel welcoming, comfortable, and personal, which is why we take the time to get to know the individuals and families we serve. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by friendly faces dedicated to helping you feel confident, cared for, and right at home.

Lead Dental Assistant

I mastered my dental skill set with over 40 years of experience as a dental assistant. My knowledge within the dental industry initially developed in my hometown of Emporium, Pennsylvania.

I relocated to Phoenix in 1985, when I began working for the former dentist in this office. I continued with the practice in 2002 and now work with Dr. Josh Denison.

I feel that I have provided utmost care for our patients who have stayed patients for over the past 30 years. I truly enjoy my job, our patients, and my co-workers. I will continue to work at the office until I am ready to retire.

Carol

Registered Dental Hygienist

I’m a registered dental hygienist with Dr. Josh Denison. I have been a practicing hygienist for over 35 yrs and have been with this practice for at least 25 of those.

I love the dental profession and hygiene in particular for the patient interaction, dental education, and the ability to make an uncomfortable situation pleasant.

At Copper Ridge Dental, we take pride in making our patients comfort and dental experience a priority. Our patients feel like family to us.

I personally get the most reward helping patients with dental anxiety to experience their dental appointment in a new way with gentle encouraging care.

When I am not in the dental office I am hiking, working out, reading, or helping with my 3 grandchildren.

Registered Dental Assistant

I discovered the dental world when I was in high school. My family dentist asked me what I would like to do after high school. I said I want to be a nurse. I want to care for people. He said come work for him! He hired and mentored me.

After high school I went to San Jose City College and earned an A.A. Degree in Dental Assisting and then a B.A. in Behavioral Science.

It has now been almost 40 years of being in the dental field. My passion for caring and helping people has been fulfilled with my career and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

I am proud to work with Dr. Josh Denison, continuing to be challenged and rolling with the changes the dental field has to offer.

In my free time I am an animal rescue advocate. I enjoy outdoor activities, reading, movies, and living a healthy life style. I look forward to assisting with your dental care.
